D27 Lillooet to Whistler

Another beautiful day as we headed out from Whistler over Duffy road to Whistler. Again we suffered with beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes and windy Morgan Roads.

It was only a 90 mile drive and we were able to check into the Delta Suites in Whistler quite early. A quick lunch, then a trip up the lift to go on the Peak to Peak gondola http://ww1.whistlerblackcomb.com/p2pg/
 which stretched out over the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

 Although very high over the valley, with the longest suspension of a gondola  ever built, it wasn’t terribly frightening.

 We were chased off the hill at 5PM (with everyone else), then went for dinner at a small Italian restaurant with Colin and Callie, and Paul and Marie-Isabelle.

The best treat was that we had washers and dryers in our suites. So the evening was spent completing laundry.
