DAY 28- Whistler to Tofino

The beautiful day started early in order for us to catch the ferry from near Vancouver to Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island. A local Morgan club member escorted us to the Ferry which was a glorious 2 hour ride.

Upon arrival in Nanaimo, we fueled up and headed out for the 120 mile drive to Tofino, across the island. As it became hotter and hotter, web had to stop as I was verging on heat stroke. Reportedly it was very warm- some say 50 degrees centigrade, but I doubt it was that hot.
Nonetheless, cooling in the shade, a wet towel around my neck and a bit of time, and we headed on our journey. We are staying at a very nice resort just outside of Tofino proper. They are very nice here, and have a St. Bernard, just like our Fagin and Morgan.
We had a lovely dinner of fresh crab, and shortly thereafter, the electricity went out… just as I was about to start on the blog. So an early to bed night.
